I'm being born into a new life
I'd fallen in
The darkness made me shine my own
A light that hadn't yet been grown
My searching failed
I looked inside the unknown for something to hold
I sank deeply
Only then did it occur to me to try to look inside
That was all I had left
There was a spark
Just from loving my own being
Now I'm seeing what's in front of me
Now there's rising
For like nine months
I'm 23
And being born into a new life
Sometimes I'm like
What's the point
All this growing gets me nowhere
And after it all it'll be the same
But then I feel
Something of the present beauty
Right here and now
And then I know that
It's not about
